Abstract

Anal cancer is a rare disease that contributes to 3% of malignant gastrointestinal tumors, squamous cell cancer being the most common. It is of local and lymphatic progression. It rarely presents distant metastases and when it does, it is more frequent in the liver, lung and bone. However, no publications associated with squamous cell cancer of the anus with distant metastases have been found; reason for this communication.
