Neuroendocrine Tumor of the Rectum in a patient with a BRCA2 mutation (exon 23). Case report.

Abstract

Genetic mutations studies that has influence in the development of neuroendocrine carcinomas has increase considerably in the last years. Multiple mutations, such as BRCA2, have been associated with neuroendocrine tumors. Until date, case reports of rectal neuroendocrine tumors with a BRCA2 mutation has not been described,and these it´s the reason why we public this article.
